Just got an SR6. How would one take off the plastic fleshlight holder? I tried twisting it off but it would just twist in place.
You should be able to twist it out.

What you should do is turn the device on. So plug in a USB-C or port that your vendor used to power the signals that drive the ESP32>Motors, then plug your power cable and switch the device on. That keeps the twist from moving so it’s easy to get leverage on the receiver.
That should provide power to the Twist mechanism. Then if your vendor used a updated twist ring, there should be a release clasp at the bottom which you can pull on, if it’s the original it may be a little hard to grap, so use a tool and then twist your fleshlight slowly and firmly counter clock wise. It should easily release from the clip-in system. If it is not easily coming out, then ensure the release clasp is fully engaged.
